We do get some highway miles in there so our average is around 18mpg

We had an F30 335 8AT right before this, and it was interesting that in the same conditions that car was averaging 22mpg. That ~25% increase in fuel econ is fairly proportional to the decrease in cruising engine RPM from going to the 6AT in the X135 to the 8AT in the 335

Interesting. We were sort of forced into buying an LCI F30 when some hoodrats in a stolen car did this to my wife (who was absolutely uninjured):

The one 340i they had was a naff combo, so we ended up with a 328i. She hates it, but that's another story. The relevant part is that it's averaging about 16.5mpg, or even worse than her X1.

X28i fuel economy

My 2014 X1 x28i seems to have increased its mileage since it has a few more miles (25k). I'm averaging 27+ most of the time and I drive 75+ on the highway 👍

Geez, glad she is ok!

That probably means she is using the gas a lot more to get power out of the 328, or the car is broken
