Suggestion for X1 roof bars

I am thinking of purchasing roof bars for my X1s and also install the bike attachments. I understand that Thule makes "aerobars" that are a bit cheaper than the BMW OEMs. Does anyone have suggestion or experience with roof bars, bike racks, etc?

Your insights will be much appreciated.

I was thinking of doing the same myself, but as only two of us go out for the day with bikes, I fold the seats down and put them inside. I did look at these (see link), but there are plenty of people who make roof bars with bike stands attachments to keep it up right etc, my only suggestion would be to go with the sliding bars so you don't damage car lifting bikes over the vehicle.

I've got the Thule bars - they're very good and look better than the BMW version (IMO)
