BMW Performance Parts

Anybody else disappointed no performance parts for the X1? E.g. lighter wheels and brakes. That would do my car some good!

I've seen the performance calipers on an X1 in the gallery somewhere.

There's not a lot in the way of upgrades and doubt there ever will be... as the X1 is not that sort of car.

I'm on the lookout for a decent stainless steel rear silencer. Remus do one for the X1 2.8i, but it's £408 and not totally stainless steel in looks.

Have a look at bora's post 'Lemans Blue M Sport' located in X1 photos. a brilliant car that shows what can be done with BMW Performance parts.

My post 'not for the squeamish' shows how you can convert an SE to M Sport specification. There is also quite a good choice of wheels avaialble but these are difficult to find on the BMW site.

Hope this helps

So any ideas on a stainless back box supplier?

I had one (a Scoobyworld Ninja) on my 2004 Subaru WRX Impreza for 4 years and it was awesome. Cost £225 new and I sold it for £110 4 years later. Loved to polish it and keep it gleaming. Made the rear of the car look much better.

Each to there own of course, but I think the standard oval exhaust is horrible.
