white spots on the dashboard
Any one suffer this as well? Under the light or sunlight the dashboard in my X1 has, which looks like, white spots which is not visible while in the shade. Talked to the service guy and he acknowledged that he could see it with mobile phone lights on but later he came back saying they tried to clean it but couldn't get rid of them and saying a design thing I will try capture it on my phone and will put the pic on if successful..

I'm guessing dust particles glistening in the sunshine. Often, you will see them when photographing a smooth black object with a flash, also.

wasn't hard at all to capture those spots on the pic it was inside a car park with not much light but still quite clearly visible. This is only the corner part, it's visible on the middle section as well.

All I see is what looks like chemical staining from a cleaner, and light reflection off of the surface itself.

I don't think there were that many spots before but today I tried cleaning some off with damp microfibre cloth but no luck.. I read on the net that someone with mini was able to get it down by using BMW's interior plastic polish (non-shine one). I will see if I can get that of them and see if it helps.
