For the ipod conector get a simple Aux cable, costs 2USD and does the same function. The bluetoof that will be a problem...it hasnt been invented yet. :P

Don't know how cheap they are compared to others, but you can take a look at:

getbmwparts.com in the US.

Have a look at these thingies. Typical Garmin Nuvi's no big deal but should fit the cradle. Or you can go even further. Gee, I am jokin'.

Any idea if a side bumper (or how its called) exists for X1 (in Europe possibly)???? Getting fed up with idiots opening the door of their car and hitting my 4 month old "baby" :S

Pepe, I find it simple - before I enter the narrow part of my driveway I command the 'idiots', as you succinctly put it, out of the car

I might get your answer wrong, but they are not in my car, so I can not get them out. They are parking next to mine, and open their door widely and hit my car.

Oops got that wrong! I have to say, that here in South Africa we do have drivers that rank among the world's worst, but when parking even the owners of junk worry about scratches! I think I'll have nightmares if I was in Europe!

Oops again, did not mean to be offensive - I'm sure Europe's ok, just read an interesting piece on Italian and French driving - and not necessarily bad
