BimmerLabs 328 to 330 tune: Possible 2FA4 Error fix?

Hello Every one!!!

After a lot of reading since my last post https://e84.xbimmers.com/forums/show....php?t=1925928 and receiving my BimmerGeeks Pro cable now I understand a little bit more about flashing and tunes (just a little bit more).

Using INPA now I know that my DME was replaced on 2021 and that is causing the 2FA4 error due to power class mismatch. I also understand that BimmerLabs' tunes delete the power class check so it should be a solution to my problem if I understand this correctly.

CAS and every other module have the correct VIN and were updated on 2013.

Now... the only question left is: Is it safe to use the 328 to 330 tune from a 328xi VIN in my X1??

It has the same N52N engine with MSV80 (attached is the DME info report from INPA)

I noticed the NoMAF tune is labeled x28 to x30... does this means it works for every 28 car to tune it as a 30??

Hopefully hassmaschine could chime in with some advise.

Hello!!!

At the end I took my DME, CAS and Keyfob to BIMMER ECU Solutions.

My X1 is finally working great and BIMECU service was great.
