Tom tom easy fixing

Having just purchased 2 litre petrol X1
And having used Tom Tom for the past 15 years I certainly was not
going to pay the inflated price for in car sat nav
Solved the problem with Tom Tom mount and adapter,also cubby hole door will close when out of use
Would like to wire directly in but bit worried about damage to fascia
