Newbie introduction
Hi All, just a quick into from Sydney AU - I picked up my Red X1 20d sDrive a couple of weeks ago, but I've been lurking around here for a few months now getting the lowdown on X1's. So thanks to all of you who've been posting the useful info on these forums.
I know everyone likes to know the specs around here, so the add-ons are; auto, electric seats, reverse camera, parking sensors, bus nav with iphone integration and auto-dimming mirrors. |

Hi All
Wasn't going to buy a car this year but after being snowed in twice the Clio had to go.
Bought the X1 in January and I love it, far more agile than I expected, I really like driving it and the smooth Auto is great. Last edited by Peter16; 04-13-2011 at 10:25 AM.. Reason: Messed up using smilies |

I see you are from Yorkshire? If snow is a problem in your area you may consider some winter tyres. The difference is as great as going from 2x4 to 4x4. We had a really bad winter up here but with the snow tyres the only thing that would stop me is very deep snow (snow plough effect) or other traffic getting stuck (cars/trucks on hills with hard summer slicks)
