Nice! I dig the mirrors and mud flaps. I didn't realize it at first.

The winter tire set is about to go on it in a couple weeks.

I'm looking at the Thule aero bars. What do you think? How is the wind noise while driving?

Nice looking ride! I have a 2015 X1 35i Msport too, but black. I love it, planning on driving the wheels off. Just hope I can find time to do all the things I want to do to it before the wheels actually fall off, lol.

Tire swap debacle

Went to my local Firestone to swap my winter summer setup. They funked up the stagger on the left side. Then drove it around the block without checking or consulting me. They did this before on my 335i but I caught it in time.

On top of that, they damages my front wheel and tire.

They are on the hook for: front and rear wheels, two front tires, and a new strut. =2900$ (ASC).

Fantastic! 🤨

Hello all! Long time lurker, first time poster. Just got my ‘15 X1 about 2 weeks ago and I gotta say, I really underestimated it before I started doing my research on it. Then I just had to have one because it’s probably the newest of the E-models, which means I get that sweet hydraulic steering back. The RWD platform is nice too - AWD with RWD bias!

Thanks! They’re the stock 225M rims. But unfortunately, they were the first thing I changed on the car, because the tires are completely shot, metal showing through and everything. So right now I’ve got my snow tire set with style 306 wheels on there. But soon I’ll change them out for 19” 437M wheels from the M4 I used to have. Gonna go square with 255/35/19 all around.
