Hi to everyone from new X1 owner

Just bought a used 2015 X1 xDrive 28i with 24k miles. Last two cars were FIAT 500's (Sport, then Turbo). Prior to that, an E90 335i. Wife and I were looking for something more comfortable than the FIAT for our frequent drives from Brooklyn to upstate NY, with a hatchback for utility but still small enough that it would be easy to street park in the city. We loved the E90 and were impressed with how well a family member's X3 held up to 120k miles, so we decided to go back to a BMW and try our luck buying used. Would have loved to get a 1-series hatch but that's not available to the States, so we went for an X1. First impressions after 600 or so miles are great. I'm still adjusting to the automatic transmission and figuring out when I'm happy leaving it in regular mode and when I like S mode better. This is my 9th car over 26 years of driving and it's the first one without a manual transmission!

I went through a phase where I was mostly driving manually. Now I pretty much always drive in sport mode and only use regular mode once I hit the highway.
