2015 xLine vs Sport?
Hey all, so getting another X1 (my 2 week old baby was totaled in a wreck last week). Dealer im looking at has one virtually identical to mine but its xLine not the Sport package. Whats the difference between those packages? Ive tried searching around but cant find much helpful itemized differences.

I love my sport seats! But yeah, generally X-line is more silver trim, Sport-line is more black trim. X-line is easy to spot as there is a big strip of silver trim that runs along the bottom of the sides below the doors.

Does anyone have shots of both types of seats? Sport and non? I hadn't really looked at the seats....If the sport are really that much better I could shop around more i guess

Well, i had it for 2 weeks and then about a week ago was involved in a huge wreck, cars a total loss. It was towed and the insurance company took it from the lot, just waiting for them to settle up with BMW and pay off my lease before buying a replacement. So dont actually have the car infront of me at the moment, and as i only had it for 2 weeks it wasnt quite long enough to commit all of it to memory :P

I don't have sports seats on mine and really don't miss them. Either way the seats are rather sporty. Also the sports seats are longer even with minimum adjustment so if anyone has short legs they'll appreciate the standard seats (which is why we went this route)

I don't have sport seats either and while I liked them a little more, not having them is a complete non-factor to me.
I see the appeal, but the standard seats most definitely do not suck |

Thanks for the advice everyone, i did really like the extended front of the seat but thats not that big a deal. Think im gonna pull the trigger on the xLine as soon as my insurance finally pays off my old lease.

I had a 2013 X line and traded it in for a 2015 Sport line. To me, the seats are the most important thing. That's where you spend all your time. You have to be comfortable. I found the seat bottom of the standard seats to be too short. Also, I found the side bolstering to be inadequate when I was driving on the twisties. The sports seats were a huge improvement. I also have leather as the vinyl doesn't breath as well. That, combined with the four way lumbar and seat heaters makes for a great seat.

I find the non-sport seats very comfortable. I'm restricted by my neck fusions, and I couldn't climb in or out easily, so the sport seats were out anyway.

In Minnesota, you may appreciate the higher profile tires. I've no complaint about my X-line seats, tho' I didn't like what I saw in the '16 iteration.

Found another 2015, ultimate/cold/lighting/sport, silver on black w/coral details from the sport pack. Placed a deposit on it yesterday pending the dealer in NJ figuring out if its possible to sell to me in MN.

Shouldn't be a problem to sell to someone from MN. The logistics will be the pickup, your $$ / bank are as good as anyone else's.

That's what I assumed. When I bought my last one from a dealer in CA they just overnighted me the paperwork which we signed and notarized and sent back. Once it was set the car was on a truck to me. This sales guy wasn't sure if that was acceptable so had to check. He felt like me and maybe my co-signer would need to physically be there to sign it. I'm planning to fly out and drive it back either way but don't want to have my co-signer have to fly out to sign one thing and then fly back
