My bad, It's around $375 from BMS. Still a deal I think.

I would def consider getting a baseline for everyone if there is not one already by the time mine shows up in March.

Excellent. The more before/after data we get the better we'll all be able to tell the best bang for the buck from the various options.

Hey Beamerboi, where did you get your LED interior light kit? Do you have nightime pics of them?

I found this, but thought it was a bit expensive for just a bunch of LED bulbs.

The BMW OEMs are even more expensive

Tischer's price is much better: http://www.getbmwparts.com, search "interior led"

edit: not that much better...my math sucks!

Hey guys, I need help on replacing the air intake filter (stock to drop in aFe's)

I unclipped all four silver clips that secures the air intake unit and I can see the stock filter (orange borders and white paper in the middle) and I couldnt seem to make an enough gap to take out the stock filter and replace it with aFe's..
Please help guide me to open this box?

I apologize for a dumb question here... I'm really a newbie
Thank you!

I didn't realize aFe offered a filter for the 28i. Where did you purchase?

I purchased on Amazon.com after Endless Detail's guidance. ( Thank you for that!)
Part number is 31-10227.

I finally got it in, but with a little bit wound on my thumb.. The inner side clip was kinda hard to clip it on

Also, anyone tried changing the bulbs from the yellow ones (not with the lightning package) to HID/Xenon? I'm planning to do so, but I do not know the part number for it Can anyone help? I appreciate any replies

EDIT: found out that it is a H7 type. Any brand recommendation for HID lights? I came across flashtech. Any suggestions? Thanks

This info is for any 35i owners out there. Jerry at Eurocharged says he can tune your X1 if you can get it to Houston, Texas where his main shop is. Any questions about price, results, etc please direct to Jerry at http://www.eurocharged.com/ as I'm just passing on the info.

I wouldn't trust anyone without details of their tune. I don't know of any true tunes for the X1. My guess is that he'll just slap someone else's piggy back on your car.

It's not like Eurocharged are an unheard of company, and they already have an N55 tune (ECU mail in). I'd imagine they mentioned actually visiting the Houston location so they could read the DME and (hopefully) adjust it accordingly to any X1 specifics.

I'm still leaning towards Cobb, but for people local to Houston,Eurocharged isn't necessarily a bad option to look at.

Eurocharged is a well known tuner for several Euro vehicles. His tune would be one of the best you could get because he personally dyno tunes it if it's there in his shop. No boxed or canned tune would perform better. (dyno tune)
