MY2011 X1 Documented Specifications, Options & Pricing?
Does anyone have any confirmed documented specifications, options and pricing for the new MY2011 X1s?
I’m testing driving this weekend and want to be up to speed regards the new MY2011 specifications. Thanks;

I have a thread elsewhere with some of this detail but I will list the basics below again. As far as I know there is no general increase in prices in the UK, think the weak euro will take care of that . I see some other manufacturers (eg Ford) are even droping prices by up to 12%. 1. XDrive 2.3d - The auto box as standard as been dropped and the price goes down by £1510. 2. Paddle shifts also now included with the auto box option (205) on both S- and XDrive 2.0d models - price of the option stays the same 3. Paint Tasman (A81) has been dropped 4. New Mineral White Metallic (A96) an option. 5. Rear-view mirrow with digital compass (4NA) has been dropped. 6. New option Steering-Wheel heating (248) - £130 7. New Blootooth hands-free option (6NN) - £200. You don't need satnav with this one either but it omits the place for a cradle in the armrest and an outside aerial. 8. Comfort Package (ZXD) in the UK now includes cruise control with brake function - £660 (£420 on the 2.3d). And thats it as far as I know. Your dealer should also be aware of these changes but the brochures will only be available in August. Last edited by mario486; 07-16-2010 at 06:28 AM.. Reason: PS: |

Hi!
Anyone knows if this is only to UK? I'm ordering my X1 till the end of this month and i want to know if this bluetooth option (6NN) is available everywhere. It's much cheaper than the actual bluetooth option and i don't need the armrest cradle... I talked to my portuguese dealer today and he didn't knew any of the new MY2011 specs. |

I would hazard a guess that yes, these are factory options and there is only one factory. My updated X1 order here also shows the new options on their system. The document I have is the one circulated internally by BMW UK to its dealers. I also know that Poland, Germany and Holland have done the same. Not sure about Portugal. I have had quite good service from BMW UK's Customer Relations dept and have often emailed them directly. Maybe you can try that there. |
