My x135i (with pics)

Ok guys you will never believe what happened. I got the call that my x1 was on the lot and being prepped so I run down to see the car and BANG!

I back into a BMW loaner car due to the car was in my blind spot as x6's have real bad blind spots and one of the major reasons I'm downsizing...to the x1

The irony is it was in front of the BMW collision centre LOL DId some damage too but that is what insurance is for and my very first accident ! A few min later I saw my new X1 being parked as it was in the service building.

No paddled shifters on the M wheel you must tell your sales rep when you order.

Here are a few pics with the iphone I will pick her up @12:00 tomorrow and have better pics.
ps my reflection as I've been told is not flattering...Im not that fat as it appears.....

Nice, wouldn't worry about the paddle shifters it looks hot with the M Sport package. It looks the best with the black interior.

Sorry about your 6 dude, must be too excited... Your new one is way cooler I think and I'm sure will be more fun to drive. One thing I didn't notice until now were the black screws under the body colored wheel arches, why would they do that?- I'd take care of that first thing. Black kidney sorrounds next...sweet ride though, enjoy! You happy with the color?

Hey is that a stretch 1er in the reflection alongside the not so flattering one of yourself

Thanks guys yes the color is sorta takes getting used to but it was starting to come a storm so no direct sunlight was available to see it really shine.

Dam I just saw the black ribits in the wheel arches that sucks it doesn't look right at all now you said it!

Now I'm totally confused, it looks like you have the cold weather pkg with the insert below the headlights but you can't get it with M Sport? What's up with that?

That was the only thing I didn't add to this order I think its just a plug for the washer as my X6 has it too but no washer. The shifters have me puzzled but I'll live as i had them on my Mini cooper/bmw135i and have them on the x6 and I swear I never used them. Im going to see what kind of haggling I can do when I go get her! LOL

Next is to have the windows done. I did a pic in photoshop with the tint added and makes the x1 look very aggressive

Do you guys think mud flaps would look good and fix those black ribits under the tire wheel?

Headlight washers stock on the 35 I believe. Can't get the heated M wheel so no cold weather...

I wouldn't worry about the black wheel well fasteners, it doesn't deflect from the look at all. I almost expect those fasteners to be there. If it really bothers you, there's always orange touchup paint.

Yeah ! Congrats ! Nice color by the way. The M pkg gives a nice look to it for sure. The black screws are ok too. With the black roof rails it gives it a sort of "grin". Don't have to change anything from my opinion.

Enjoy it !

Second look on the second day made my reaction stronger.

I wouldn't touch the black screws.

For me it ties in all the black elements from the grill to the roof rails. It works well for me - I like it as is.

If the fasteners were silver steel then it would throw it off, but the black works as the existing trim color on the car.

Can we get some sunny pictures? What type of tires come stock with the 19s? Are they firm enough that you aren't worried about potholes?

Very cool! Car looks great. Thanks for showing the shifter... I assumed it would be the old one but it wasn't clear. Looks fine and I think the 35i is definitely the way to go if you've got a few extra grand and want performance. Ooh I almost forgot. How's the servotronic steering???

The steering is part of the woow factor for me it less stiff than my x6 was. It works with that 35i power/frame and size of the 19wheels.

Not to be a show off but the 35i/M version is sweet. As it set while the deal was going on everyone was commenting on the color the version and the wheels. Im having the windows tinted tomorrow and will take pics.....The night lights are cool too....Now Im perplexed about the IPhone cradle now it looks I have to spend 250.00 more for the adapter so it to fit in the middle console. But in two week the new iPhone 5 will be and from the rumors the new phone is going to be longer. what to do......

I saw your car before you picked it up over at Lauderdale Imports. Really impressed with the Msport version. Love the color but couldnt pull the trigger on orange.
I ordered pretty much the same car in black with aluminum trim. The 19" wheels and Msport really makes that car look awesome. Looks like a mini X5M. Congrats..
