Anyone Replace a Headlight on an E84 x1?

I can't seem to figure out how to remove the headlight assembly. I got into a small accident with a deer last week, and I need to remove the headlight assembly to fix one of the brackets, but I can't seem to figure out how to remove it.

Above the wheel, on the wheel arch is a cover. I think you should look in there to access the lower section.

I mean the whole assembly. One of my brackets is broke, and I need to fix the headlight housing. It looks like the front bumper has to come off to remove the whole headlight unit.

Yes, you will need to remove the front bumper to pull the headlight. At least on my Msport model that required me to remove the trim along the wheel well. Be sure to disconnect any headlight washers or parking sensors if your vehicle is equipt with them.

Yes, you need to remove the bumper, but take your self few hours to do it, look at some e90 videos and it should go easy, one man job.

Good luck
