I think the car needs some color, and the bmw blue & white emblem gives it just that. Also, would you be replacing the emblem in other places too? Like the wheels center caps and steering wheel?

they are not expensive, so you can do the test and if you do not like returns to baseline

I had those on mine a while back. And the hot California sun after a while day started turning yellowish gold. It would be a smart idea to cover them in a clear UV protectant

I am for keeping the original.
BMW emblem is beautiful as is and has a certain status and sends out a certain message. It is one specific element of the car. I wouldn't alter it, but is your car. |

If I end up doing them, I'll just do the hood and trunk. My summer wheels have Work center caps
