Replaced the X1 with.............another X1
Hi
We’ve spent the best part of this year looking for a replacement for our X1. I need folding mirrors to get parked at home and cruise control on long journeys (licence saver). Not many with both it would seem. We looked at X3s, Hondas, Mercs and other stuff to no avail deciding to wait another year. I’m not too keen on the new X1 layout then suddenly this old model came on the market. 2014 M Sport 2.0 D with above criteria plus Bluetooth, DAB, Servotronic steering, extended light package, tinted glass leather seats etc So looks like another 3 years at least of happy X1 driving and lurking around here The old ‘un The new ‘un |

I've got the same 2014 mSPORT with stock halogens, too. I rarely drive at night, so I don't mind.
So how is the power, and mpg with a DIESEL 2.0? What impressed me with the 2.0 turbo gas was the low end torque from 1250rpm (diesel like). |

Very happy with my xenon's - it was a required option from my perspective and I couldn't be happier with it.
Good news is that there are a few aftermarket options for those with halogens who want the upgrade. Completely agree with the 2.0 turbo gas engine - the torque is amazing. Having driven a few other cars with similar engines (2.0 turbo Forester) i can safely say this one tops them all. |

I had 265hp and 305 tq at the wheels with software and downpipe alone. Although utterly useless from a stop with FF even with 255 tires, but that's another story. |

Please post some links on these aftermarket Xenon retrofit options. I've been researching this upgrade and not finding anything good. Thanks!

I recall seeing something on eBay... just try searching for BMW E84 headlights.
There were also a few posts on here about retrofits with aftermarket headlights with xenon's I think. |

This engine has twin turbos and feels more revvy than last one and more petrol like in feel. Still a very happy camper :-) |
