Inspiring work, kiloTHREE! I'll be doing an upgrade on my wife's X1 to the stock F30 335i grey/unfinished Brembo 340mm brakes. I just ordered some 2016 salvage calipers that I may paint Valencia Orange to match the body color. I'll post pics when I'm done.

Another thing I want to try to do is figure out the brake coding parameters on her car and my F25 X3 to adjust for different caliper and rotor combinations regarding pedal feel bias, etc. I suspect those 4-piston caliper's fluid volume will result funky pedal feel and improper bias unless coded.

I've done brake upgrades on my last 3 previous cars and never noticed.

I did however always upgrade the fronts and rears in the same manor, so maybe that has something to do with it.
