I like it and I think that he was spot on...most people would be better in a touring. Unfortunately, they only come in a single spec over here in Canada. If that is ever sorted it would be great.
Until then, the X1 will sell like hotcakes and I am pretty sure that is what BMW is banking on...well, at least until the X3 comes out, because that will be the new best seller.

I came down from the 5er to an X1 .. it's all about WHAT your needs are.

I wouldn't worry the guy is trying to be controversial and clever to make a name for himself at the cars expense. I really don't think this is the kind of review most car buyers are looking for.
The whole point of the X1 and other crossovers are that they are a compromise between the extremes of mainstream cars, and therefore appeal to REAL people with diverse but not polarized needs. |
