My New X1 xDrive20d
My first post in this forum so hello everyone,
The car was delivered nearly 3 weeks ago but I haven't got the time to upload some photos. My car is one of the first 12 cars in Turkey. Distributor exported 23d's last week but i think the 20d choice is enough for this car in terms of performance. I had no chance to choose any extras since that was the last car left in the country But there are many extras like panoramic glass sunroof, servotronic, meridan gold seats, black roof rails, piano black trim, Bi-Xenons, sports leather steering whell w/ multifunction an so on. The extras cost about 10k Euros with our high taxes. The performance of the 20d engine is pretty good, handling is also very good in my opinion. And lastly, although I jumped to X1 from a Golf GT TSI 170hp with DSG transmission, I found the steptronic so successful even it is a tranny with a torque converter. There aren't so many photos but i'll upload more as soon as I took better pictures. |

Congrats!
If you had a choice would it be steptronic or DSG? I see that your X1 does not have the x-line - it actual looks good - I thought that without x-line it would alot less SAV like but no. Are those run-flats? If not, whats the comfort/ride like? Cheers |

Yes the tires are run-flat. I have the run-flat winter tires at the moment. The car absorbs little bumps very well, but not that much soft at bigger ones. Not smooth as a 5series, similar to 3 sedan. Thanks, your X1 looks perfect too It's nice to meet an X1 owner here. |

By the way did you get an improvement for the trunk door? They've done the improvement at the dealer a week ago and this morning I realized that all the mounting points of the trim were broken and the trim was not sitting properly |

It's been 40 days since we bought the car and I'm extremely happy with it No serious problems yet I'm so happy that I chose X1 over Grand Cherokee 3.0D

There was an improvement for the trunk and they were not able to mount the trunk trim appropriately, but solved. The only problem is that i am not happy with the steering wheel alignment. Gone through KDS procedure 4 times at the dealer but i am still not happy When driving straight steering wheel is 4 5 degrees left positioned. They say it is in the tolerance limits. I'm going to have the car checked somewhere other than the dealer this week.
