Production BMW X1 spied on the streets with minimal camoflague. Beautiful!
Here it is. Looks like the production car is going to be a near identical copy of the 'concept X1' that was at the Paris autoshow. Which is a good thing IMO!!

i couldn't find it there, but if you're talking about the yellow one, that's the Concept X1, which isn't the final, production version.
regarding X1 vs. X3, the next X3 isn't supposed to get much larger, so i think the X1 will just be an economical, small SAV, which is why i doubt it'll make it to the North American market.

I dunno. I was hoping that this would turn me to a BMW hybrid/mini SUV, but this is still too much like the X3 and the aethetic styling that I dislike. Looks like the Audi Q5 will be a hard one to beat.

for now. the Q5 has a 270hp version of their 3.2L engine. once the new X3 comes out, it'll probably have the 3.0LTT engine, so you're looking at 300hp out of that. beyond that, the styling of the Q5 looks just like a Q7, which, honestly, is ugly as sin!

this one is a diesel, compared to the petrol posted earlier. based on the exhaust tips of the first car, i'm going to say an N52/3, but they look too small for the N54 engine (compare the 135 tips - same layout, larger-looking tips).
