visit car-part.com and do a search for electric x1 sport seats. I remember seeing a pair from a wrecked M-sport recently.
E90 seats may fit, but they will have significantly more wear because the e90 is an older car. I also wonder about the seat height. They could be too low for the X1's high dash.. |

They are the exact same seats based on my vehicles 07 E90, 14 E84. I'm guessing the e84 seat is on a spacer of sorts for more height.
The two differences I found were the headrests. The e90 is better and more adjustable and the e90 also offers many adjustments for back support while the e84 does not have this feature (at least not mine). Also the leather is very durable; for an 11 year old car I can barely tell the difference between the two interiors. |

Hi Guys - I'm new here so apologies if I am posting incorrectly.
I have a 2014 bmw x1 Xdrive (E84) and I hate the seats. I recently test drove a brand new x3 with spot seats and e/adjustable bolsters and loved the seat. They also told me that the new X1 (starting from 2016) also has the electric bolsters. I don't care how well it matches as long as it's black - but is it possible to replace my seat with any year/model with ebolsters? I thought maybe I could replace it with seats from a 2014 msport but that seems hard to find details on. But I believe this thread is about replacing seats from 3 series (E90) which I'm into. I found these on ebay which I'd be happy with: https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-BMW-E90...298d:rk:1:pf:0 Will these fit based on the above success story? Thanks for any guidance/direction that anyone can give! Nathan |

Rears definitely won't fit. The fronts will fit physically. You may run into issues with connectors and the number of pins since you want the added features your current x1 does not have.

Is this a easy swap guys?
If I buy the sport seats will be just plug&play? airbag stuff its the same ? I'm about to buy the 20D SE, but the most important to me its the inclination missing in the comfort seat. |

Easy and short answer- yes, they will fit.
https://e84.xbimmers.com/forums/show....php?t=1543118 They bolt in and plug in. Having said that, the driver seat needed a coding change to bypass the seatbelt light. The electronics don’t match. In the passenger seat I had to disassemble and remove the seat pad and install it in the new seat. Not fun. |

@zoul ,
I recently purchased some e90 seats on ebay. What did you have to do? Did you have to take the pad from the X1 seat and put it in the e90 seat? Do you have the codes for the driver's seat? Was the wiring pretty straight forward? |

I'd consider the wiring harness incompatibilities. I read that there are issues even between e90 lci vs non-lci seats. So watch for that or you'll get error codes.
