X1 Accessories Compatibility Thread
I thought I'd start this thread as a resource for people interested in modifying the X1. Due to the X1 being new and part of the "SAV" platform, there isn't much "official" accessories for it yet. However, some of the accessories for other BMW's may fit. I'll be ordering many of these myself to test, but it may be several weeks before I can confirm fitment because I may be replacing my current X1 with a new one.
If you've tried any accessories or modifications, please list them with if it fit or not. I'll need some help on the x28i front as I don't own one. x35i N55 Tunes: BMS JB4 Stage 2 Tune - compatible BMS FlexFuel Wires - compatible Dinan Stage 1 and 2 - compatible Bolt-on's: N55 Chargepipes (all brands) - compatible N55 Downpipe (all brands) - reportedly compatible Cobb N55 Intercooler - not tested, but Cobb support believes it will fit perfectly. N55 catless midpipe - not tested, will order shortly BMW 135i Performance Exhaust - not tested but think it will fit, will order shortly. Interior BMW Performance 135i Aluminum Pedals - compatible BMW Performance 135i Alcantara Shift Boot and Handle - INCOMPATIBLE - it's rumored that the 335i one fits; I will be ordering to check. BMW Performance 135i Shift Selector and Alcantara Boot - Shift selector is compatible but the alcantara boot is not. I haven't been able to find a matching boot at this point. x28i N20 Tunes: BMS Motorsport JB4 Stage 1 - compatible |

You can add the downpipe for the n20 by evolution racewerks, sold by Terry at Burger tunning.
Also, stage 2 tune is in development. Shame there isn't more available, I can't wait to see a performance Fmic one day. |

As for other equipment, MOMO shift knobs are also supposed to work with the six speed shifter, with the caveat that on most of them, you lose the button function, and it will work as if it's always pressed. |

Kw suspension makes the variant 1 & 3 coiliver setups
H&r springs make a lowered sport spring set as well. Afe makes several intake, tune, and exhaust products. K&n makes a drop in performance filter for the stock intake. |

Now we have had some time to modify these cars, I think it's time to bring this thread back. I will be updating the OP post tonight with a bunch of known compatible mods. Feel free to post your experiences here for me to add.

Dinan's web site finally shows the Stage 2 tune being available for 2014 E84 N55's. For months they were telling me they were "working on it" and that the 2013 tune was not correct for the 2014 E84 N55. Figures that I just spent that money on new home theater equipment instead.

I don't think the new F30 ones will fit. But maybe the BMW Performance ones from the E90s. I thought I saw a car on here a while ago that had them

Nobody has done the swap. Cars in Europe get a performance brake kit or did get a kit. I'm looking into e90 m3 brakes

You could be right and I have looked into fitting the 135 brakes but one thing I noticed although they do look better they are smaller then 335/X135 brakes... So to me its not worth all the effort and money to make the swap happen.
