I did not roll them at all. I had the car set pretty low with my street wheels on (19x8.5 et16 245/35/19 and 19x9.5 et24 275/35/19) and they rubbed until they had self clearanced the fenders a bit lol. I raised the car up for the track wheel/tire setup and they didn't rub at all. I'll post a picture of it on track at full compression when I get home and you'll be able to see the clearance. |

This is the height I set it at for daily driving, and it rubbed until it cleared itself. |

Thanks, your car looks fantastic. Regarding height compared to e9x - you're definitely right, but also if it doesn't rub lock to lock it seems like we have more clearance in front of the wheels as well. I love that aggressive look you have and think it's a huge upgrade from the stock wheels on this car - the huge wheel wells filled with tiny wheels and tires is part of what makes the stock car look awkward in my opinion.

When is the new prototype turbo going to be made?
BTW, thanks for updating the thread for everybody and answering questions on your wheel/tire/suspension settings... Gives me an idea on what to run wheel/tire wise on my H&R lowered X1

Haha no turbo upgrades for me anytime soon. The X1 is my daily.. I wasn't supposed to mod it at all, but we all know how that goes.
No problem, I learn a lot on the forums and try to help whenever I can. |

Here's a shot from last weekend lifting passenger side and at full compression on the driver's side. The car was set high enough so that it would compress and not touch the fender

Does PSI have anything in the works for an upgraded turbo?
I would be interested

Puts all sorts of thoughts in my mind with your fantastic daily drive look. With my Sdrive might have to get a wider set of wheels for the back and drop it down a bit. More saving and wife manipulating. |

It would be nice to have a local company doing N20 mods other than piggyback. |

The front swaybar is identical to that of a 335xi, so one made for that will swap.
The rear is a different part number but looks very similar. I can't confirm it will swap yet but have a hunch it will. |

I'm searching for a used m3 rear bar... If I can't find one I may end up getting a Whiteline e90 bar and seeing if it will work. |

I don't think we'll be upgrading n20 turbos. There have been a few engines that have failed with the stock turbo already. I'm not sure the n20 is going to hold up too well past ~300whp.

Any chance you could let us know what the difference is between an E90 kit and the E84 kit? Are the dimensions of the damper the same and it is just a different spring length or is the body/shaft of the damper longer? I am wanting to do something on my new X1 but really do not want to lower the car too much and make it look slammed. I have been spoiled for the last 5-6 years with AST dampers and I am afraid some of these off the shelf kits are not going to cut it. Higher grade springs from Swift with thrust sheets will be a priority. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
