I'm lucky as the missus is entirely behind most work that's done to the X1......even to the point of pushing me to get on and do a few things I've been putting off.

I just got the kw v1 for my wife and will install this weekend. At your height, what kind of camber are you seeing? Any significant wear on the tires? And in general, can camber be adjusted much on the x1?
Thank you, Noel |

If i remember correctly it's around -2.1 in the rear. There is adjustment on the stock camber bolts, however, that was the closest to stock they could get in the rear. Anything further would likely need adjustable control arms or similar.
No undue levels of tire wear yet as the toe has been adjusted accordingly. |

Mark, I saw Mark at tunerworks. How much space do you have on the inside? We're doing work brombachers in a similar size. I just don't wanna cut out roll body work lol

Yeah, he tried calling me yesterday but I was stuck in meetings literally all day. I need to talk to him anyway, so we'll try and get some measurements and figure out what you need |

Was back in today to hear the good word. It's 1/2 good news, 1/2 bad news. Good news is they can do the Brombacher for me, bad news is they might not be able to do the finish I want.

[QUOTE=skylineguv;14653621]Sure, I'll try and get one for you over the weekend.
kool....i might use a heat gun to heat it up a bit and bend it upward instead of shaving it. I think bending it upward you can skip trying to trim the wheel-well carpet aswell.

The wheel well carpet is a pain but you may get away without touching it. I think a meet would be decent Anton....I still haven't seen your X1. I'm retiring the X1 from winter duties this year so a meet up before the snow flies would be good. Which reminds me, a for sale thread might be in order for a few things (winter mats etc) Last edited by skylineguv; 09-17-2013 at 07:18 AM.. |

I'll have to see the grille in person, but put a hold on it for me.
