X-line Bumper "Inserts"
I guess the best way to describe it is through photo as I don't know how you call it (attached). But I just like to ask if you can order these matte silver "inserts" (from x-line) and get it installed through the dealer or by yourself. I have a base 2013 X-drive 28i and seeing my co-worker's X-drive 28i Sportline all the time makes me jealous that she at least has "it" in gloss black..

See here:
http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...66&hg=51&fg=15 You want both sides of 15 in either silver (x-line) or black (sport line) and if you want the middle piece, it's 6. Looks like the silver ones should run you about $17/side and the black should be about $15/side. The center piece is about $50. Edit - it also looks like you'd need to replace #13 on each side, which are about $22/side, and if you want the center trim piece, you'll need to replace #4 with #5, which is about $41. So all in, you'd be out around $75 for the side trim and $100 for the center. Last edited by Red Bread; 06-04-2013 at 03:30 PM.. |

I doubt it, BMW typically makes things fairly easy to replace. It looks like it may just be snap fasteners, which if you remove your existing trim, you'll know if you need to order any new ones to fit the new trim.
