Wondering if the US s/xdrive28i's will use the n26 engine in 2014 - XBimmers

I was reading up on the other models and the n26 engine is replacing the n20 in many areas. I wonder if the 2014 x1's starting production March will switch over to that engine as well for the US market.

Did a quick search since I was curious about the N26, it sounds like this super ultra low emissions setup is for emissions restrictive California on the F30s (?) It could follow for the X1s although as a more niche car here it may not be worth it to BMW. Saw some positive feedback on it but entirely subjective; the stainless steel bits sound interesting
