Any interior pics without moonroof?
Checked the Interior Thread and couldn't see any pics of the inner roof for an X1 without a moonroof. Just curious what the non moonroof interior looks like.

I had a moonroof on my last car, but my kids always wanted to me shut it because they were either on the iPhone or wanted to play games in the back. So on this car, I decide not to have it.
Sometimes, dark is preferable. |

I am so lucky my kids have grown up and the sunroof cover is always back to let the light in, don't often open the roof, but don't often close the cover it just makes it so dark as I have a black inertia.

black inertia
I've been thinking about an inertia, but don't think I'll go for black. What color inertia best goes with my incoming Midnight Blue X1? Hmmm...
Also, considering an entropy. ![]() ![]() |

I really like the confined feel without sunroof and with black headliner + tinted windows, also dont forget that the sunroof rises the noise level of the interior.
It's nice to have, I have it on my 5 series (ok its much smaller than on the X1) but I barely use it, most of the time its closed with the sunroof shade closed too.

I only got mine because the dealer put it in for free to clinch the deal, not sure they are worth extra money, but like I say the extra light is nice

I think there is another difference:
If you have the moonroof, then the map reading lamps are moved from the roof to the left/right hand side above the C pillars. Last edited by dchao; 11-09-2012 at 09:00 PM. |
