Custom order possible?
Anyone ever custom order a bmw? if even possible?
AFAIK, the Canadian 2013 X1 28i doesn't come with an HK sounds system upgrade option. Only available in the x35i. Another example is electric seats, selecting it requires 2 extra packages. Really BMW? I would pay extra to have certain options installed but not follow the packages' restrictions of what comes with what. |

I wanted the lumbar adjustment but in order to get that, I would have to pay for a premium package $4K but I don't want the other stuff. Good thing the paddle shifter could be ordered along.

his sales guy was able to help in bring in a 2012 m-sport model, even if no such thing existed in bmwca configurator/pricing guide. AFAIK, he's the only one in canada who drives a 2012 X1 28i M-sport |

Maybe custom orders like that cost just as much as getting all the other options anyway, but what is really strange to me is the HK thing. Its the only BMW model on the planet that doesn't have an option for it. I've sent a message to BMW canada asking for confirmation. I'll provide any feedback if I get a response. |
