Bought my first BMW 8 weeks ago bone stock...but didn't stay that way long. I have to admit I'm too obsessed with this car....I should call it Christine !

Hoping that I will soon have my first BMW. 2000 M5 black on black. I am in the process of discussing its price with the seller. 31,000 miles, one owner, garage kept and never tracked. If anyone has any input into its value, please share it. I've looked at many for sale and Edmunds, Kellly Blue Book, and NADD. Prices seem all over the map.

As far as my infatuation. I got a jeep cj7 at 17 and I have always like driving vehicles that are a little different but don't say look at me. At 21 (and after procurring an r6 and building street legal sandrail) I decided I needed a good DD that I could rely on and take long road trips in. The problem was I couldn't find any vehicle that I liked. My brother told me to look at 3 series. I did and instantly clicked with me. The simplistic yet refined interior and exterior really agrees with me and my personality. Nothing drives like the for the price and I like that I can easily perform my own maintenance. I picked up a 325xi black on black (which is the only color combo I ever consider even) and alas 3 years later and having with 5 different kind of trailers in my garage I really would like something that can tow. Because the freigthliner conversion motorhome can tow anything but it just is not very convenient.
I am looking at x5's because to me they are basically everything I like in the 3 series plus the ability to tow and carry more cargo. hoping I can get some advice on them here. |

My first ever BMW was an M3 in Gran Turismo for the original Playstation haha. Joking aside, I have just purchased a beautiful 550i Msport within just a few weeks elapsed.

My first BMW was a 1992 525i that my mother gave me because she decided she didn't want to worry about the future maintenance costs. I ended up liking the car even though it had a slushbox, and was turned on to German cars since. I ended up trading it for a 1984 Porsche 944. Amazing driving experience in that car, but had to sell it for a car I could bring myself to drive in New England winters.
