Rear window defroster works partly
Need technical help with rear window defroster. I have a X1 E84, where only inner circle works but not outer parts. I have done some troubleshooting, and what I could figure out is that there are 3 source lines and only the inner one has volatage (~7 V), outer ones have 0. On the box connection to the defroster lines there is only one pin with the voltage (~4 V). Is the voltage correct should there be higher voltage? What else can I troubleshoot?

If a section(s) wasn't working, I'd check for continuity to see if there was an open trace somewhere. That'd explain the 0V as well as identify where the issue specifically existed.
I'm not sure what the voltage should be but I'm guessing that'd be easy to find online. I think it's 12V but someone could correct me. Seems odd that you'd read a lower voltage at the connector vs the actual elements, though.
