Vow, this looks good (minus the steering wheel would look/feel better if it was all soft leather). Love the way they covered the inside with white plastic underneath the front bumper, not to have black screws being visible.

Bring it to the US already! I would strongly consider ordering one after a test-drive. Would prefer an x3 m-sport, but its kinda pricy with all the options...

They could've spent an additional 5 euros for a propper and elegant closure for the 12V socket though, because the current one looks like it's been taken from a 1986 Wartburg and apparently was already stolen by someone at the Geneva show

5 euros? No way that would've cost more than 0.50. Perhaps you can purchase one at the dealer for 15

i like it. but i still like the x3 better. don't like the back as much. Not a fan of the alcantra either. it's hard to maintain that. i had it on my e46 zhp. no alcantra for me.

Don't get too excited; no guarantee it's coming to the US. If it doesn't, I'll probably revert back to my original plan for an E91.

But that one drives great, is big enough for a small family and on top of this is fancy as hell. |

One thing that bothers me about the new X3 is the front. The cut line for the hood on the X1 is higher up like the Z4, new 5 & new 6. It's a safe assumption this trend will continue to the new 1, 3 and across the line. I think they should have given the X3 the same treatment. I feel like in some ways the X3 is going to be left behind design wise, as the first generation was. The first generation always looked painfully dated and I think this model might be the same. The X1 already looks more in line with the current trend of the front ends.
