18" lightweight wheel option
At just under 15 pounds! Tirerack has:
18x8 Sparco Assetto Gara wheels in black like I'm looking for. Anyone have any experience/feedback about this brand and/or wheel?

FYI - had the stock 355 wheels w/ Pirelli A/S runflats off this past weekend. They weighed 55 pounds each with the 225/45/18 tires.

I can tell you that my wheel/tire combo now weighs 45 pounds. 10 pounds less on each corner. I know that I saw somewhere that the wheels weighed 26 lbs. and that the run flats were also quite heavy.... hence the 55 lbs total weight....

Did you switch to non-run flats? Or was the drop of 10lbs each corner just from the wheels themselves?
Curious, because I have been thinking of swapping to lighter all black wheels. Any chance you can post pics of your X1 with them on? Saw it on tire rack and it looked pretty good! |

same, it should weigh less than 45 lbs if you added new tires. so he must of used the old runflats. heavy. he probbly can save at least another 5 lbs and have better ride handling and feel with new non runflats, but i know you dont have a spare, get a can of fix a flat i guess. go from 55 lbs to high 30s wow that is very good
