To be honest, we probably don't need them and I'm not sure how good they would be on a usual winter day in the UK. Our winter is relatively mild and I think regular winter tyres designed to work very well at 7C and lower (common) and well enough in snow and ice (relatively rare) are a very good fit in the UK.

Our winters are probably like your summers on most days!!
