Not necessarily, that is also the Sport Automatic shifter. Very different thing. Sport Automatic is just software programing for the standard automatic transmission that gives you quicker shifting, rev matching on downshifts, etc. and has been offered on several BMW models (incl. the new X3 35i)
I doubt that BMW is putting the DCT in the X1, this is almost certainly the Sport Automatic option.
