No, can't say about Sandisk Cruzer.
I know that
old PNY drives work without a reformat, but not newer ones. A Kingston Datatraveler I tried also came in a "superfloppy" FAT32 format.
A cheap Patriot Xporter worked until it broke.
An expensive Mushkin Ventura Pro worked fine, but that's overkill.
I currently use a
Sony Micro Vault 32 GB - it's horribly slow, but fast enough for this use, and small and non-ugly enough to stay permanently inserted.
So in short, I've tried most everything except the Cruzer.
