For mid 40s you can get a used 2013 m5. You may want an suv over here so you can carry more stuff, snow, and do some light off road site seeing. 235 is fine but small for road trips. We have big expansive highways and bigger is more comfortable. And you will have snow for a couple months if you make it to winter. Remember, bottled water costs about the same as gas. $2.15/US gallon. I'm getting a 2014 m5 for my daily driver.
