We leased our 35i after having had lots of warranty issues with our previous 135i. Our lease is up in August and it looks like our residual price will be about $4k under trade in value. So we'll likely buy it and wait for the 4GC to get the B series motors or just trade it on a Macan. Seems BMW was a little pessimistic about the residuals at least for the 35i.
