But, your set-up is the opposite -- the diameter of the fronts is slightly larger than the rears. Perhaps this is the cause of your problem, even though the actual differences are minor. My BMW mechanic (with whom I've worked over the past ~15 years) tells me that the X-drive system is VERY sensitive to different sidewalls (even very slight differences).
