Dumb question for those who have recently done this flash: in the DIY guide referenced in the first post, under the part for how to fix the paddle shifters, it says to have SPdaten 49.3 or 48.1 loaded into NSCexpert and Ediabas. That guide was from 2013, and the current version of SPdaten I'm downloading is 60.1. Is it correct to assume that this version of SPdaten will work for the paddle shifter fix?
