Well that time came, I had my chance with a very fair trade allowance (after almost walking immediately with a low ball number) and I let it go (at least for now.) Hard to say why but 40k is still a lot $ and I still love the idea of getting mid 30s-40 mpg with an oil burner as much as the 35i makes me smile every time I'm in it I couldn't pull the trigger.

35i owners: What hwy mpg 75 is this car capable of?
Would you hesitate if you had the chance to do it over again?
Should I run back and buy this little unassuming rocket?
It doesn't have sport or paddles...help!!
1. If you drive around 60-65mph, 27mpg is doable. I drive at 80-90 and get 23-24 being heavy-footed.

2. No. I actually did have the chance to do it again due to electrical issues and got the same car again.

That being said, I would NOT get a 35i that was not a M-sport with paddles. But that's just me. The sport suspension and seats are a very big deal for me.
