Seriously?!?! We must have completely different vehicles. My '13 X1 xdrive35i is a blast. I find it planted yet compliant, no rattles, A/C seems to work just fine, and the xdrive still has hydraulic steering (though slightly spoiled by mandatory servotronic). To be fair the 6 speed auto does suck a little.

Almost 30k miles on it with no complaints. Had an E85 Z4 that was a POS, and E83 X3 that was a dog compared to the X1.
