According to Wiki, the car was assembled in India, Russia, Mexico, China and or Germany, but it now lives south in Norway.

I traded in my 06 Passat 2.0 TDI and handed the car dealer a wish list for they to search for a car in Germany. Automatic tansmission, leather, navi, tow bar and of course four wheel drive. They had to retro fit the tow bar, but it was worth the wait.

It took som time to get used to a smaller coupe, but I was prepared for it.
It was delivered with 17" wheels that's now wheels with rubber for the winter and bought a OK set of original 18"s for summer time. Next season I aim for 19 or 20". Yes, I'm a wheel whore.
