After many trials and errors I seem to have solved a problem that bothered me a lot
... If anybody ever had trouble reading mp3 or wma audio tracks on the BMW Professional audio device (I suppose it is the same on other models), like skipping parts or whole songs, check the settings on CD recording software: instead of Track-at-Once record CD as Disc-at-once, it should be all right.
