I use ScanGuage right in front of the speedo that I can't read very well anyway.
It gives me corrected MPH, coolant temp, voltage, and average mpg.
The odometer and the tach are dead on, but those other numbers like miles to go on tank, and mpg (25.5) don't correlate to anything I understand.
I think the 25.5 might be total mpg for the 5500 miles I've owned car, but my Scanguage gives me tank mpg, and reset average mpg for a condition that I can check to improve mpg.
