Hi,
as everyone knows X1s for Europe are built in Leipzig/Germany. I don't know if they have a plant in China for X1s yet - afaik all X1s are built in Leipzig/Germany.
Since BMW is a German Company which is very familiar with German laws and commodities you are inclined to think that BMWs might be cheap in Germany (since germany is a "small country" there are nearly to 0 shipping costs also).
But I'm sorry that I have to say that BMWs are nearly nowhere else as expensive as in Germany. There are a few other countries (Switzerland, Sweden etc.) where prices are also very high.
If I compare the prices with the US, China or UK market I geht tears in the eyes. Not only are the cars "cheaper" the even come loaded with a ton of extras and a bigger engine (at least in the US) for a price that is LESS than basic model in Germany.
Well I've learned to live with it. Different markets different prices. That's just enterprise politics.
