Obviously how aggressive you drive will have a lot to do with how long any tires last. As long as I get 25k out of any performance tires I'm OK with that. The Michelin Pilot Sports wore a little better than the Potenzas in my experience and also gave great performance (I was living in Jax at the time as well). If you only got 27K out of a set of Cinturatos, you will probably not get 25K with the Michelins though.
