You can run E90 coilovers with an adapter sleeve on the front struts. As mentioned above, the knuckle is a bit different.

The front swaybar is only compatible with E90 xdrives (assuming your X1 is awd), if it's RWD, any e90 front bar will work. Any front bushing/arm for an E90 xdrive works on the xdrive E84.

The rear suspension (sans spring/shock length) is all E90. Arms/bushings, etc. Technically, you can bolt on E90 shocks and springs.

M3 rear swaybars, subframe bushings, etc. all bolt right on out back (but Ms have different arms and spring shapes vs. standard E90s).

Wheels work, brakes work.

Sans the wider knuckle, you can think of an xdrve E84 as an E90 xdrive, with a taller ride height. As mentioned above, interior is another story.
