Yes. Couple things.
On iPhone. Go to settings>Bluetooth > click on the i icon under bmw> select show notifications
It only will pop into the status square. Ie where the phone signal is on your cic.
The phone has to be locked. So if ur using your phone they don’t pop up. Then go to office and messages.
