I'm in the same boat. My wife and I really want to do an ED trip for our next car and if there's no X1 or F31 touring coming, it's looking like an A4 Avant. The Mini Countryman looks like an oversized toy and the X3 is too big. The X1 seems to offer a great combination of size, utility, luxury, sport, etc. and it will be a shame if BMW can't get it over here.
